About

My name is Cynthia and I’m a university student by day and food blogger by night. I’m based in gorgeous Vancouver, BC and wouldn’t have it any other way. Baking and pursuing a balanced lifestyle is my passion so I’m always looking for new ways to revamp the delicious treats we all know and love in a healthy way.

I’m all about making sure that everyone can try my delicious culinary creations and for that reason, many of my recipes can be made vegan, sugarfree or glutenfree. One of my favorite things to bake are yeast breads and pastries so if you have a sweet tooth to satisfy, you’re bound to find something in the “recipes” section of my blog to enjoy. If you’re a more savory person, I’m always trying to whip up yummy quick and easy dishes in my kitchen to enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In addition to my love of food, I have a passion for both healthy eating and living. This other dedication of mine inspired me to start the “clean eats” and “fit chat” section on my blog where I share ways to eat the treats and dishes I love in a cleaner way without giving up taste as well as simple ways to live a healthier balanced lifestyle. So, drop by, have a little read, and drop me a comment because I love to interact!

  1. Hey I really like the stuff you blog about.

My SO took me to cafe salade de fruits a little French bistro on Granville and 7th.

I highly recommend the mussels and salad/fries

I would love to hear your opinions on it.

  10. Hi, I love your blog! Especially the name! I don’t get to go out to restaurants that often, so it’s nice to find inspiration from someone who ‘eats out’ more than I do, that way I can create recipes to ‘eat in’ with my hubby and children and not get stuck in a rut with my cooking. Was really good to stumble across your site. Keep up the good work!
